Chris Philp's dad was in the Marines and then the SAS asked him to join and help them storm the Iranian embassy, and then NASA begged him to fly the space shuttle. And also he invented the hacky sack.

Yeah and actually he knows loads about France and goes there all the time 'cos he's got a French girlfriend no of course you've not met her she goes to une autre école.

I hear Philps is going to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Let’s hope he can tell the difference between starting pistols and intimidating warning shots.

I've seen a segment of his set-piece speech for tomorrow 'having received no such undertaking from the French, I have to tell you that a state of war now exists between myself and France'

I knew Philp’s dad slightly; I went on archeological rescue digs he ran.

He must have slotted all that in and around being an archaeologist, or archaeology was just a cover?

"Yeah he's got a collection of ears in a drawer at home from Aden "

🤣🤣

The French navy didn't need to shoot at Chris Philp to intimidate him, they could just have shown him a photo of Mick Lynch.

Chris’s girlfriend went to a different school. You wouldn’t know her. I think it was in Canada. Apparently.

I thought that was Paul Nuttall on gap year

Some say Chris Philp was formed from Jeremy Hunt by budding. A direct copy, but with a slightly degraded form, as is common with clones.

It's December 2020 and the minister for immigration compliance Chris Philp is refusing to rule out sending asylum seekers to a remote island or disused oil platforms, or creating a “giant wave machine” to stop boats from crossing the Channel.

Genuinely, when I first saw this story with a picture saying a sitting MP had been fired at, I thought, no way, Jeremy Hunt isn’t an MP anymore.
