Discovery of the day: a hornet nest next to my electric meter. It’s far enough from my doors that the wasps haven’t gotten aggressive towards me, though I do wonder if my utility company will object. It’s late enough in the hornets’ seasonal cycle that I’m tempted to leave it be(e).
