I can't understand why Meta is spending a quarter $trillion on infra over two years, and taking on debt that lasts until 2049 for an LLM that isn't even a blip in usage stats. Is he planning to compete with Azure and AWS in cloud storage?

It's clear to anyone who works with these tools that Meta's and SpaceX's engines are dead in the water. They should both stop participating in the mother of all sunk cost fallacies.
