Interesting. Makes sense - it’s easier to kill/eat something smaller. It’s pretty rare to get multiple eggs from the same female’s gonotrophic cycle in the same container in the wild, though, iirc? I think the overlapping pair I found in a porch flowerpot tray were a few instars apart.
