In total, the tiny population of Europe (and as you say, we did much of the damage when the population was TINY tiny) has contributed as much to climate change as Chinas *vast* population. We have contributed CO2 more per capita than China has And yet you think we're blameless.

I disagree with the premise as your own graph includes China 200 years later. How were they warming their homes? Anyway, we are where we are and today the biggest issue is China.

"warming your home" is not the main source of CO2 emissions. I'm sorry to hear you disagree with scientific data. You might feel that one ton of CO2 emitted by China os worse than a ton of CO2 emitted by us, but the climate doesn't agree with you. The climate doesn't care where the CO2 came from.

The *only* thing that matters in terms of the climate is how much CO2 (and CO2 equivalents) has been put into the atmosphere in total. Not "who did it", not "which year did it happen" But "if we add up all of humanity's emissions". And Europe has emitted about as much as China.

Per capita, of course, the picture is far worse. Per capita, each European has emitted in the order of twice as much CO2 as each Chinese. (Each American is off the chart, of course) Not "in the last year" but cumulatively. Those are the only numbers that *matter* for the climate.

But since you explicitly said you don't agree with the premise that what matters is how much CO2 has been put into the atmosphere, I don't think there's much point in continuing this discussion, is there?
