Remembering Great Uncle Dominick Cioffi on the anniversary of D-Day. He was killed near St. Lo, France in July 1944 during the invasion of Normandy while serving in the 121st Infantry Regiment, 8th Division, US Army. His remains were returned to his hometown of Yonkers, NY in 1948.
