How do you know that cyclops didn't exist in the past? Hell when it comes to all of the Graham Hancock fans, ya'll miss the part that Neaderthals did exist for a time longer than Homo sapiens currently have. We just assume they were dump cavemen!

Considering most modern humans have trace DNA of Neanderthal, there were other species on the planet at some point in the ancient past! Do I think cyclopses existed, no, but the Ancient Greeks did thousands of years ago!

And no I am not saying there is definitive proof they weren't just simple hunter gatherers, but they did survive for at a minimum 350,000 years. Currently we can only grasp around 6,000 years of our own species history.🤷‍♂️

Whose this “we” you are talking about? The people that actually study this stuff and are experts in the field don’t have any trouble grasping more than that. They just operate on evidence, education, and experience. Which is why they view GH as the crank that he is.

I am not bashing archeology or another scientific study. We do know they have identified Black Bands in the geologic record, ironically we still use black bands to redact information today.

I didn’t think you were bashing archeology, I think you just aren’t aware of the details of that field of study. That’s how people like GH get fans. If they don’t know anything about the field, they also don’t know that GH doesn’t know anything about the field.

Black mats have been found in lots of places, and in multiple layers at the same places, no? And the comet impact theory is one potential cause (and is not the leading potential cause). This is why GH annoys me. He latches onto things because he wants to believe something else.
