I have a friend who’s on redesign number 50 something lol Meanwhile I’ve been meaning to make a redesign going on like seven years

I just change it whenever I see something I think is cuter than what I currently have

I doo! But then I made it a part of my design! My Meowstic is part Inkling, so he has chromatophores. Because of that I can make him whatever color I want and I can shift around his markings too. Means I can let artists have fun with him when I get comms too!

I struggle with this for at least half of my sonas overall if not most <w< ;; Something that helps give you more room for variety, I’ve learned, is the character being a shapeshifter of some sort but that’s entirely up to you 🙂‍↕️ And there ain’t any harm in having multiple versions of one sona either!

Yes, and that's the main hurdle for why I still don't have any art of my Umbreon yet 😭

I'd say I do, but I have like, no visual for it, I try my best in my head at least to keep it consistent, but it's only until recently I got a grip on it

Make a shapeshifter fursona, then you can draw Basil however you want and it'll be lore accurate

Yea, I feel especially when im personally going through a lot of changes or self discovery that it often has to change with me As you grow, you dont feel the same as before so ofc it changes a lot For some ppl XP

I couldn't keep my art style consistent enough to finish making my game for YEARS. Then I learned I have DID and it turned out I had multiple alters trying to help lol. Now I have the best one doing the assets and it's more consistent. Plus a few that like doing the code. 🥹

Every single time I've commissioned my sona I've asked for very different things. Only consistent elements are "bunny" and "turquoise", but now I've added "angel" and "orange" too hahahah

I don’t consider it “struggle” but more like accepted evolution or change! My sona Evaa has changed a lot over the years while retaining a lot of the same too, I see it as a natural evolution as you change as a person :) Having alternate version of the same character is also totally okay!

Mhmm. I have even just decided to come up with alternate forms for different occasions. That way I can look how I like but also look how I feel at any given (only a few different) time[s].

I've had like at least 8 different sonas that I love deeply but I keep changing. My latest thing was a Doat a Dog + Goat hybrid but I stopped drawing them and wanting to draw them so, I'm trying to come up with a new one again. lol TLDR: I relate completely

Just make them color shifting in warm water like a hot wheel, very simple and normal solution
