So does that still count as a minimum contract where they get the league reimbursement? I saw Bobby Marks earlier say that because it's a two year deal they don't get the reimbursement and wouldn't be able to do the contract because they're hard capped at the first apron.
A one-year minimum contract is subsidized by the league, where the NBA pays the difference between the two-year minimum and the player's actual salary. The two-year minimum is what hits the books.
When it's a two-year deal, the league does not subsidize any of the deal and the actual salary counts.
I know, I was wondering what the Sixers did because the $3.9 million apparently took them over the first apron which they were hard capped it. Did they get rid of another contract?
