The freakout over Zohran’s grocery stores is hilarious. It’s probably my least favorite Zohran policy just because I’m not convinced they are necessary but we’re talking literally one store per borough. It’s a worthwhile experiment and I promise you all that it will be fine.

I think the worst thing you could say is it’s a political stunt meant to garner more good headlines, but in an era of abject stagnation even trying something new that may or may not work out is refreshing!

zohran’s even acknowledged he’s open to being wrong on the grocery stores. at least he’s trying something where there’s clear logic in how he’s trying to help people, even if it doesn’t pan out. I’m not opposed to throwing spaghetti at the wall based on an educated guess
