This question is usually posed rhetorically, but there is an answer! Or rather, several answers. The first, of course, is this smirking dumpling of a human being, who, like all such people, is an entitled piece of shit who never got over when mommy stopped wiping their asses, doesn’t know ball.

The only sports they have ever encountered are on paper or on a screen or paying to watch it. But they’re weak jock-sniffing nerds who are born toadying. They have asshole opinions about something they’ve never done and enough clout to make them your problem. Whining no-balling loser creeps.

Their politics are those of literal babies if babies were racist. Their view of gender is one that is an absurd holdover of Victorianism. They are lucky enough to be part of the privileged class of the most bloated capitalist oligarchy in human history and get hired to be courtiers for rich idiots

Their arguments are as serious as those of a six-year-old yelling ‘SHUT UP MOMMY’ and in any sane society they’d be relegating to teaching comp 101 to farm kids *at best*. But we’re so fucking beaten down by this system that elevates them to high levels of power that we have to pretend otherwise

Related are all the other contortions of capitalism that one might expect. And so this fucking smarmy sack of flour gets to bring his droopy-drawers understanding of sports and gender relations to our attention and has the clout to do something about it but we just let it happen Anyway
