Today is the birthday of artist Ken Bald (Aug. 1, 1920-March 17, 2019). He worked for several publishers in the Golden Age, including Timely/Marvel, where he cocreated Namora & Sun Girl. He also drew the newspaper strip Dr. Kildare for over two decades & the Dark Shadows strip.
