found gay club MANDY'S in Covent Garden ?1970-1979 ... seems to have been quite well known, must try to get it at least a mention in the book during the copy-edit ... 1979 new management named it 'Hell', to play off the recently opened 'Heaven' ... anyone know precisely when it opened or origins?
