FYI: A not-very-friendly but accurate Blueskier noted that the Baker twins likely didn't serve in the WWI Coast Guard, & I've added that to the text of the post. But still, so many fascinating & inspiring stories of the USCG in WWI, just a few years after its creation under that name!
