my mom's house is fine but the fire line literally ends at their backyard, and just a few doors down a few houses were totally razed. closest call in history of closest calls, probably thanks to efforts of the huge amount of fire and structure preservation teams 🥲🥲
fuchsthe spokane wildfire is so bad and has fire teams stretched so thin that there's just very little updating going on, which like makes total sense, but my parents house and my aunt's house are right on the border of the documented perimeter and i have no way of knowing if they're still standing
