In my early 20s, I worked for a year as a cook in a one-man kitchen for a burger + ice cream place, where we killed time inventing novel food combos. My proudest achievement was the Wafbasa: A kielbasa sausage deep fried in waffle cone batter topped with hot fudge. It was unironically delicious.
