Still can’t over the fact that the president of the United States just told an entire state to pound sand after getting cyberattacked by a foreign adversary because they didn’t vote for him and it was treated like a Tuesday lol

There’s an extent to which the GOP disrespected blue regions in the past, but still understood they had certain obligations to govern them. Increasingly the GOP is now treating them with outright animosity and acting as if “Blue America” is a separate, malignant entity

It’s bled down from the Federal level to the state level now as blue cities are essentially losing their representation. In turn, blue regions are rationally having to come to terms with the fact their fellow citizens will levy a death ray against them given the opportunity. This leads nowhere good

What's even more incredible is that both MAGA & their apologists in the press love pointing to this map! Makes me kinda doubt they believe themselves when they say the whole country secretly loves & believes in MAGA!

I dunno, but I think it's a bad, like, extremely bad thing, that the President of the US looks at these two maps (which one depends on the day) and is totally unable to conjure up the idea that inside those blue states are still millions of people who voted for him.

I always respond, "Empty land doesn't vote." This also applies in those instances when someone insists that a local candidate match their opponent sign for sign - in empty lots.
