You cannot reason or find compromise with people who are so unhinged that even the simplest gesture of support for trans people provokes a shrieking tantrum, and it is pointless to try. Some people really need to learn this.

Jakey is a nasty, vindictive arsehole who takes great glee in making the lives of trans people harder. She’s not a hero. She doesn’t deserve praise.

If we had an actual functioning media that didn’t kiss her feet all the time, it would be good to see some questioning of her behaviour. Still think about the M&S incident where a TERF complained about a trans woman assistant saying “can I help you?” to them in the lingerie section.

Jakey immediately took to X to scream bloody murder and make all sorts of allegations, calling the woman a pervert etc. M&S announced the lady hadn’t actually done anything wrong and then she came forward to give her own account…

..where she had merely done her job by offering assistance to a customer looking a bit lost, but certainly hadn’t offers to do a bra measuring or anything else she was accused of. Did Jakey apologise? Nah. Just moved on quickly.

Honestly feels like being the kid in the emperors new clothes sometimes, everyone telling you how wonderful she is and how brave and what a saint and she gets soooo much abuse the poor thing. Meanwhile, all you can see is this shrieking, angry, vindictive demon-thing.

It allows her to get more extreme, too. So many women I know, who don’t really pay attention to the whole “debate” and don’t know much about it, *definitely* noticed that yacht photo and they all commented on how shocked they were at how nasty she’s become.

They also notice more now that her hate is publicly extended to any woman she suspects of being trans, through physique, colour or achievement they she deems unwomanlike

Absolutely fine for her to abuse and try to ruin the lives of random members of the public but god forbid you cast doubt on her victim act or the supposedly thousands and thousands of “threats” she gets 🙄

we should make it law that the more financially able you are to sue someone for defamation the harder it should be for you
