I can't help but wonder reading @tressiemcphd.bsky.social's critique of the new Little House on the Prairie & wonder if younger generations of women have never seen male competence and don't even think to dream of it as escapism it's so foreign. The bar is VERY low for dudes. (Ask how I know lol)
