That kind of sucks. I mean, I never played it, but now my chance of playing is even less likely.

tbh I thought Stadium was going to die sooner

No point in celebrating this because the core game "suffered" due to new map distribution. "Suffering", as if the core game didn't get 7 new heroes in 3 seasons while Stadium has been eating scraps in terms of the hero pool.

Never liked Stadium but seeing it cut off so abruptly like this is a bummer for the community. It feels like splitting it between QP & comp, and not removing other queues like arcade first, did a lot of damage.

This is great news for non stadium players. So much of the map design team was taken for a game mode that is really small. I'm hoping we get more maps into the main modes thanks to this. I'll miss the fun moments the mode had... But honestly, i haven't touch it in a while.

i hope said future plan is adding the stadium map to regular pool i want to play them but i don't want to play a worse version of deadlock to do that

I really dislike this I didn't get my main in stadium, instead we got Freya :/ I really hoped that stadium could have been more. Maybe in the future they'll un-pause it

I for one am shocked that snowball: the mode didn't manage to attract a stable playerbase.

This is really tragic. I hope if nothing else they make the stadium exclusive maps accessible in skirmish for custom games. Lots of really beautiful maps that might become wholly inaccessible if stadium gets fully sunsetted

I only played this mode once. In South America servers almost nobody is playing Stadium…

this is so damn upsetting. i was looking forward to them adding more heroes, just to see how differently they could be played, or trying to think of powers i'd give each hero. i'm beyond disappointed, & since i don't enjoy regular modes, why keep the game? sucks to be in that 3% 😭

Not always, becasue it is quite a time consuming mode, but from time-to-time I liked to jump in, and have something different, more complex then the base game. And not just becasue of the double count for completed games.

I admit, that Stadium is a hardcore mode for players, who know already the basics. And I know, that it is a huge work to balance all the abilities in that mode. But letting it obsolate, not getting any content update, is not good.

Why is it always the stuff I like. 😭 Rocket Racing & Ballistic in Fortnite, now Stadium in Overwatch... 😭😭

Glad all the teams can focus on the main mode now.

I love Stadium, but the queue times are so long

I had this idea that I feel like the overwatch devs should’ve done instead just releasing heroes & adding more where instead of adding more heroes they should’ve done a rotation each season of stadium so a set of characters are in one season & then they switch those characters out for the others.

I really don't like Stadium. Wish more time spent on core game. Many things in Stadium should be in basic kit.

I swear them listening to everyone whining about no mirror heroes in the comp mode was such a dumb decision and they should have just stuck to it. It’s partially what killed the mode for me. All for the mode to die anyway. What a bummer.

They really shouldn't have split the mode between casual and competitive and instead focused on the casual aspect of the mode. This game was designed for goofy builds where you can cause mayhem without stressing over meta and optimal builds. I'm still gonna miss 3rd person perspective :(

Disappointing to see it go, but perhaps most of all, to see them throwing things at the wall and coming up with genuinely cool ideas- only to then miss the mark and mismanage them in the months after release They’re great ideas people, but execution on SO much of OW2 has been clumsy at best

This is kinda sad, I really enjoy stadium and was hoping too see more hero’s in it.

So many people dropping in ranked in early rounds makes it frustrating game experience. I do hope some of the powers get transferred as perks in the regular gameplay

I would have played it more if they added characters that I played. A genuinely great gamemode that you could escape to after suffering in normal playlists.
