JakeParliament: Funkentelechy (Casablanca NBLP-7084, 1977) My favorite Parliament album and the clearest articulation of the P-Funk political message, i.e., shoot the unfunky with the bop gun and shine the flashlight on them to make them dance. It’s not subtle. It’s revolutionary.
