McConnell is wrong. His legacy is dismantling checks and balances: weaponizing the Senate for minority rule, denying Merrick Garland a hearing, engineering a rogue Supreme Court, and protecting Donald after January 6. He left us in the debris, with voting as our remaining democratic weapon.
