Zach Polanski is right. If people are struggling to live – as so many are – they won't have the headspace to care about climate or nature breakdown. If people think the fight for a liveable planet is prepared to sacrifice their most basic needs, they won't back it. And why would they?

I want to know what our best hope plans to do about the climate and nature crisis. I want to see radical policies.
