I know people who have had shingles too and man it is not something I want to deal with so I’ve vaccinated too. In Ontario I think it’s free if you’re over 60; if you’re not and you have extended health care it should be covered.

My dad's made out of leather and shingles nearly killed him. People scaremonger about the vaccine side effects but other than a sore arm for two days, I had zero. Go get your fucking shingles vaccines, people.

I could have paid out of pocket here to get it before age 50, but it would have been significant. I'm glad they're reconsidering the age range, especially for people who are already medically fragile.

Yeah in Ontario it’s $150CD if you’re not covered. I was but had to pay the pharmacy $25 for the shots. Worth it though for the peace of mind.
