Good Evening, Bluesky Family & Friends My first "Nocturne" from 1896 is by American Composer Amy Beach. The 3rd Movement of her "Symphony in e minor, Op. 32 ('Gaelic')" is marked 'Lento con molta espressione", partly nocturnal sounding. Her inspiration was the plight of her Irish ancestors.
