I think today what I thought nearly ten yrs ago, that the wilson translation is ham-handed & tin-eared & about the best that can be said of it is that it wipes the floor with rbts. fagles & fitzgerald. not that it wouldn’t have done me worlds of good to have had her as prof for certain greek classes
