Thanks, Doc. Your no-nonsense helpful info is a breath of fresh air.

Thank you so much for sharing this helpful advice.

Science is the bomb!

I wear a KN95 mask outside and in public places. I have enough damage from Pulmonary Scleroderma.

And then all get together to fight climate crisis, and regenerate the planet and thwart this crime against nature 🙏

Thank you.

Ugh, I don't have an open/close option. Would a wet towel or something else over the a/c vent help?

I don’t have a good answer for you for rn, hopefully someone does, but this is pretty inexpensive and I saw people putting it over their window fans and window AC units last wildfire season (photo from Amazon bc I use it to search). Might be good to have in a closet since this keeps happening.

Rude for no reason

😱

Even if masks “aren’t needed” after COVID, we should still wear them. Theres people with autoimmune conditions that could benefit from it! Not to mention this video demonstrates it’s good for us, too.

Another reason I've never stopped wearing a mask.🤷‍♀️ We have Saharan dust here in FL during this time of year (keeps hurricanes from forming in the Atlantic too).🙄 The local news keep us informed of how high levels are & caution for these exact reasons.😊 Cumulative...protect yourselves please.😷

My parents ate outside last night when the air was at a hazardous level. Said it was fine. Just a little hazy.

OMIGOD!!!!!! I'm so sorry.

Idiot begging for attention.

Thank you so much!

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you!

thing is I love sitting around a campfire at the cabin, drinking drinks and petting pets. I probably absorb a pack of Chesterfields every time I do it.

Yes! Filtering indoor air during periods of heavy wildfire smoke is necessary! Canada has some terrible wildfire seasons now. The 1st photo is 3 days of 24hr filtering through really heavy smoke. This is in ADDITION to the Hepa filter on the furnace while A/C was running. The DIY box fan works great

Lol, I didn’t realize that a/c had a recirculate option. So instead, I just taped merv-13 hepa filters to catch the air as it comes through. Looks ridiculous but it actually made a big difference!

Thank you 🙏

My neighbors bragging that this (we’re in purple level) doesn’t bother them while they mow and paint the house are officially out of my area of concern. Go in peace
