I had assumed this was the case because it was Mandy’s family (sis & parents) that ID’d them as the deceased. If someone thought their adult son/brother was an innocent victim, they’d have spoken up too. I cannot imagine what that night was like for them.

WaPo found the woman who made the false complaint on @petebuttigieg.bsky.social. She was deemed ‘mentally unstable’ in court records & has a hx of false allegations, including against an Indiana sergeant. WaPo isn’t naming her because she appeared too stupid to understand she was talking to media.
