85, Shigofumi (rewatch) One of my most rewatched anime and I still like it an awful lot. Okouchi's plotting is like watching Sideshow Bob stepping on rakes, but I think the way this show engages with mortality and teen disassociation and angst is very special. Tatsuo Sato's direction is fantastic.

86, Medjehtiqedti Bound Extremely solid event about postcolonialism & what you do after the end of a conflict that has defined national identities. Titi's role as Goodest Kid Ever kinda makes it a little too morally simplistic, but she and Pallas are just such genuine people you want to believe in

87, The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls S1 (rewatch) Still a very good show. I was a little worried with how bad animas had aged, but this really is still The Good Shit. The cast is lovely and there's always a lot happening both visually and narratively. Really hard to fault.

88, Fire Emblem Birthright Surprise! I really liked this. The story is what it is, but I really enjoyed making my own Corrin, I liked the vibe of the game, I was more attached than I thought I'd be to the characters and Fire Emblem is just Fun.

It’s pretty interesting hearing Fire Emblem fans talk about how they feel about certain games. I liked what I played of this one too. But man, some people haaaaate it.

I think it's a matter of checking expectations. As a silly playable monster of the week anime it's perfectly servicable even at its worst. If you go in thinking it'll be like Path of Radiance or Three Houses, of course it's not going to measure up.

Three Houses is pretty divisive too but it’s one of my favorite RPGs lol.

89, Star Wars Visions V3 Overall the worst volume so far, but easier to watch than V1 because the stories are more diverse. Since there's only nine episodes, like before I am going to quickly round them all off in the quote RTs.

90 The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Many thoughts on this game. Most of them good, some bad. It's really good to have a 2D Zelda, and I really like the puzzle focus, but it feels like a big step back from LbW in some key ways. Dungeons lack theme or cohesion and feel like a collection of rooms
