Premier Inns are the only hotels I’ve seen that conveniently place a breakout box on the wall to plug in fire sticks, consoles etc. . More hotels should follow that example, otherwise they risk me breaking their tellies trying to pull the thing from the wall to reach the ridiculously positioned HDMI

Rip out the tellys I say. I don't want a black box looming at me, if I want to watch something, I've got a phone or a laptop.

I always check the back of the TV in hotels in case somebody left a firestick, chromecast or USB in it

I miss the (always broken) radios that were built into the bed headboard.
