Some of the hardest fighters are some of the oldest, Senator Warren, for example. They’re also most often amongst the most complacent and useless. The most useless of all are the ones who die in office!
I'm not an expert on US politics but it's heartening to see that most of them seem to have made it through the "brain-through-the-nose" stage of ritual mummification.
This is pretty rude, so you have a strategy when they get hostile. I usually pivot to sell them a reverse mortgage.
