Seconding this thread. I'm also beyond tired of hearing the distillation complaint, when the timeline doesn't work for Kimi K3. It may have been true at some point, but eventually you've got to get off your cross, acknowledge they seem to be beating you fair and square, and get to work.
TravisI agree that it costs less to distill stuff, and I agree that’s a business problem for Anthropic. But that’s business, baby. Costs less to make a knock off iPhone after seeing it made in a local factory too. Get good at marketing, not regulatory capture. Win the consumer, not the oligarch. <fin>
