I think that you can't be a political figure and also be terminally online. You are always going to make mistakes, for which a private person will be given the benefit of the doubt, but a party leader never will.

Not for the first time. Previously, it's been blamed on him handling his own social media & the sudden rise in online activity/interaction in line with explosive growth in party membership & engagement. Whether that's still the case, idk, but lessons are not being learned: a bad look in itself.

Polanski is not fit to be a leader. He doesn't even seem to be all that interested in 'Green' politics. When has he ever said anything recognisably 'Green'?

I agree. Stupid and very disappointing thing to have done, and it's worrying that he didn't stop and think before sharing it.
