I have several degrees. I read a lot. Both sides of every argument, if possible (and Harry Potter, too 😊). Reading and learning turned me into an independent. Not enough reading turns one into a democrat or republican, IMHO.

That’s actually true. There have been quite a few studies that have shown any amount of education beyond high school, even just some college courses without a degree, makes you less likely to vote Republican and more likely to vote democratic. This is why the republicans are opposed to education.
