This is helpful. I wish someone would make a tracker for how much the USA is spending every day on this war. I also wish the human death toll were more important to Republican voters than the financial costs—but in my lifetime, that’s never seemed to be true.

Thank you. And while it is too early to predict anything, Syria had been showing signs of infighting this year, and now Iraq has signs of instability. Some Americans leaned about how Iraq has both Sunni and Shia Muslims. And then forgot.
