The import interface between blender / godot is exceptionally powerful. I use a lot of these techniques in my own projects.

I think you do have some idea, but... "you have no idea how perfect a ship editor you have built for my specific set of problems" ;)

Godot does GLB, FBX and Blender, but the core importers are built around GLB and that tends to have the least problems. There are a whole bunch of little nits that are too long to go into (scale, Y-up, etc), but the engine is easy enough to test out.

Got it importing, apologies for the false alarm. Some notes: - GLB textures aren't coming in for Godot. Haven't investigated why yet. - Scale is off by 10x, easy enough to fix with a 1/10. Really looking forward to rigging this and seeing how they behave in game :)

I've figured it out. I never opened the folder in Explorer. I went straight from ShipShaper to Godot and tried to import. Godot filters out *.gz It's there :) Sorry for the false alarm.

I try it a few times and see if I can shake out the problem. Regardless, absolutely beautiful work.
