can’t remember something putting in so many Hollywood signifiers of this being a guy whose relationship goals you’re supposed to root for—not too masculine, warm songs during non-creepy gazes, even a voice that cracks uncertainly—while knowing quite well he’s one of the worst people you’ll ever see
