I was called "big dog" at my first job but only because no one knew anyone's names. If i showed up and there was already a big dog on shift i would get called mad dog or young dog etc but you couldn't change once big dog left so then the next guy who clocked on would be big dog regardless of stature

You wouldn't send a knight out on a dog like this
