Coelacanths known as "living fossils", represented today by two species the West Indian Ocean coelacanth (Latimeria chalumnae) and the Indonesian coelacanth (Latimeria menadoensis). Thought to have gone extinct 65 million years ago, one was famously rediscovered alive off South Africa in 1938.

Megalodon wants you to think that. Narwhals and giant squids are real only until Megalodon eats them all. Mermaids aren't real because of Megalodon.

Is the thinking still that mermaids may have been some actual marine species misidentified by sailors at sea?

“But we haven’t mapped the entire sea floor it could still be out there” the habitat that it once lived in were warm coastal waters. We would have seen one by now.

This shark is called Megalodon. The Megalodon can be up to 25 metres in size, so it is not extinct, it is only submerged in the not too deep oceans. These giants do indeed still exist, as I have seen with my own eyes, so the giant shark cannot be extinct. www.futureofmankind.co.uk/Billy_Meier/...
