Everytime Farage opens his mouth he does irreparable damage to the UK, why people still support him after seeing the damage Brexit did to the economy is beyond me

Firstly the media build him up and never really challenge him. Secondly he has a core support of gammons and racists who absorb his messages without any critical thinking. They have been skilfully schooled into a mindset of discontent and grievance just as the MAGA loons have in the US.
