what is the cost of one's conscience? of one's soul? i have heard a similar argument by a self proclaimed christian in the u.s. regarding indigenous americans: they should be grateful there are any of them left, that they have reservations.

that's worse. that makes it worse.

So the editorial line here is “Don’t blame us for bombing schools and hospitals, praise us for not bombing more schools and hospitals” - if I’ve understood correctly? If so, yikes.

"You should be grateful we haven't killed more of you."

This is what every tyrant and abuser says! You should be grateful I don't do more/worse.

"oh this genocide? this genocide is us on the chain. you don't want to see us loose. we'll genocide sooooo hard."
