We used to have a Meyer lemon tree that was apparently nuclear powered. I regularly filled a large plastic laundry basket with lemons and donated to the 'Lemon Lady' in Concord, CA. Easily 100+ lemons per basket... about once per month. And you really couldn't tell by looking at the tree.
