So difficult to say. I was under the impression that rodenticides were ruled out, but there are so many environmental toxins to which poor Jackie may have been exposed. Anemia does suggest some type of bleeding - Coumadin? Fingers crossed. Cautious optimism - the Ojai Raptor Center is amazing.
And, perhaps it is a good thing that Shadow appears to have the majority of food procurement for the eaglets and that their diet appears to be primarily fish.
Last update I had said zinc and rodenticide had not been ruled out. The Ojai facility sounds top notch so she's in the best of hands I think. Update from them tomorrow! 🤞🙏
