Worse, they're trying to make Case sound cool

i do not like the case casting, i guess i'm neutral on the promos/trailer. imo an adaptation of neuromancer lives and dies by the first section in grimy, moldy chiba city where he manages to enter a drug-induced psychosis without even being on drugs, and this does not seem like that to me.

if it was me, i would try to put in as much molly millions cutting people to ribbon with her razor doll fingies as possible but that's just me

the trailer seems to show a lot of not-that so cautiously optimistic.. but also I don't want NONE of that either. I think I'm most curious as usual about the depictions and designs of things, especially the AIs

How would you like it if they did it Orphan Black style, with the same actors playing different clones of one another?

Another type of showrunner would be like "Wintermute now has generational trauma but also relatable 2015 meme references" so I guess I should be grateful. That could still be in the mix though. we'll see
