We often feel so paranoid. When we moved and told people it was because of the guns it felt like an overreaction. Within 3yrs my hometown & nearest city had school shootings. Seattle is now our closest US city and it's heartbreaking. Good luck to you. The peace of mind is worth all the struggle.
