Just watched Kleber Mendonça Filho’s PICTURES OF GHOSTS. Man, I loved it. A beautiful love letter to a city, its cinemas, and the medium itself. How moving to see the director grant immortality to the lost people and places he loves. Fascinating history. Keep your eyes open for Lucrecia Martel.
