I can't tell you how much I cried while watching this video. The concern shown by the kitty is overwhelming, and this makes me miss my Simba, who passed unexpectedly just over 6 years ago. I was the farthest thing from a "cat person"... until he came along, decided I needed him. How right he was🐈🌈🥹

EMS came and took me away a few months ago and my cat was the last thing I saw. She had a look of terror on her face. i am told she did not come out from under the bed for 2 days. They are very empathic creatures.

I had a bad fall 8 years ago that resulted in broken bones, TBI, etc, and my two cats witnessed it. Boy, did they hiss. They knew something was terribly wrong!

Last year, I had knee replacement surgery. I went to the hospital for this surgery & came home the next day. My hubby put me to bed & our cat planted herself next to me. She didn't leave my side for weeks. She would occasionally nudge me to make sure I was okay. They really do care & love us.

One time on old oncology/hospice unit I went in to clean one of the hospice rooms. The patient had a big black cat stretched out laying next to her (hospital policy allows healthy vaccinated animals in) The cat looked protective, it gave me a look and glare when I came in.

When I had pneumonia, my cat was sitting upright on a chair next to my bed the entire time. She would only leave if someone else was in the room. I ended up having to get people to come so she could go eat and go to the loo. This was her:

Judging by the completely unnatural ears, the poor Kitty looks like a Scottish Fold, a torture breed prized for its genetic defects. I have no empathy for people owning one of those.

I have 3 cats. One sits behind my bedroom door and waits for me to emerge in the morning. He proceeds to berate me loudly if I sleep too long. And if I stay up too late he also gives me an earful. We’re always conversating. He loves to sleep at my feet and pretends my knitting doesn’t interest him.

Cat dogs they all know. When my husband was in the bed downstairs following Cancer surgery our oldest pet, a cat slept above his head on the couch all day. It was sweet. This cat looks sweet and concerned. 😺

‐We got our Standard Poodle & as a pup he was immediately aware of my handicapped status. As it has worsened w/age his caring & protection is inherent & beautiful. His sister, a happy-go-lucky Pyrenees mix has learned to follow suit. We should've followed through fr their training to certification!
