7/ Will this latest 'initiative' bring peace closer? It seems unlikely, especially after Putin set his budget for continuing war for the next 3 years & already recruiting people to manage conscription in Russia in the autumn But Putin will do his usual 'delay dance' with Trump.

8/ At least Washington has a new idea - a ban on the aerial strikes in this war would save lives. But why has it been suggested now, just as Ukraine starts hurting Russia across the terrorist country? We need full details of the proposal but it's impossible to police drone use.
