If you can afford to have more than one multi million dollar residence while others have no shelter and you get heavily taxes, even to the point of having to put it on the market at a discounted price due to everyone else putting them on the market for same reason.....

There are thousands of basically vacant luxury apartments in Manhattan. Owner may stay there a week here and there. Most of those luxury buildings with apartments selling for 20 million and up are like ghost towns.
