I wish I knew, but despite my many requests to observe one of the other sapient species on this planet, I got stuck with the humans on account of my centuries of experience observing doomed civilizations. Even for us, the reward for a job well done is more work.

Cheer up, if the humans doom themselves enough they'll take out the other sapient species too so you won't be missing anything?

Open Secret Alien

Half the reason the Armada is on its way is to preserve the other local sapients before they're extinct; relay ships have already evacuated representative samples, but it's not enough. The other half is to set up a quarantine to keep local primates in this solar system until they mature/go extinct.

Biological diversity (in the form of alien DNA) is our most precious commodity and this is the most diverse world we've found. We had to artificially rebuild our own homeworld's ecosystem due to early mistakes; like exterminating all of the species that preyed on us without regard for consequences.
